A heartfelt letter to Kyle Van Noy & Cody Hoffman

Dear Kyle & Cody,

You may not know it, but I'm one of your biggest fans, and I'm deeply concerned about your well-being. I want both of you to be successful in life-- on and off the football field. And that's why I'm writing this friendly little note to you.

I feel impelled to give you a very stern warning about how much a decision could impact you for the better-- or worse.

Right now, you each are wondering whether you should forgo your senior season at BYU and enter the NFL draft. It's probably quite a big decision to make . . . but I'm going to tell you exactly what to do.

DON'T DO IT.

If you have any doubts about the importance of staying at BYU for a senior season, I give you exhibit A (or exhibit "J" as the case may be).

If that's not enough to persuade you, just think about poor Austin Collie. I'm 100% convinced the reason the Colts lost the super bowl in 2010 AND why Collie is currently trying to recover from his 3rd concussion of the year is because he didn't remain true to the blue for his senior year. You know what they say about karma . . .

In short, please please please stay and play at BYU for one more year! The team needs you, the fans need you, and most importantly, I need you! :) Do you really want to end your college careers on a lackluster 2012? Stay and play, and I have no doubt things will be different next year. Just think of the sweet revenge you could get on Utah, Boise State, Notre Dame, and others. It's gonna be a tough road in 2013, but if the Band of Brothers sticks together, great things can happen. Let's make it happen!

Much love from your loyal fan,

 Tasha
