December 20 is the day-- the day Jabari Parker announces what college he's going to. Hopefully it's a good day in Cougartown. A Poinsettia Bowl win and Jabari Parker committing to BYU on the same day? Oh man, that would be much, much better than Christmas!
As I've said before, I really think BYU is the perfect place for Jabari to shine. Yes, he could go to Duke or Michigan State and play great basketball, but he'd blend in with the crowd of talent at the big schools. At BYU, he'd be the standout star. Can you imagine what the 2013 BYU basketball team would be like with Tyler Haws, Kyle Collinsworth, Matt Carlino, Eric Mika, AND Jabari Parker? Holy moley, that would be amazing! Ticket prices would soar, and it would be tough to get into games like it was when Jimmer came to town, but it would be so worth it! I'd gladly stand outside in the cold for hours to watch Jabari play in a Cougar uniform.
Please come to BYU, Jabari! There is no greater place on earth than BYU, and there are no greater fans on earth than the Cougar faithful. We need Parker style!
